I used to take my BBC stuff to chuck 18 or so years ago. At the time I think he was certified to machine the ferrari stuff, for whatever thats worth... I never had any issue with his work and the 454 in my 12 second vette is 18 yrs old and the bottom end has never been out of the car (I did lose a Crane valve spring and had to pull the heads once, but that was Cranes fault for bad spring recommendation). He did the right things like match bearings to specific journals for optimal clearance, used torque plate during cylinder boring/honing, etc... So, I had good luck there back then, but have not used Chuck in many years (Been using Shafiroff in NY for my 540 stuff).
