Thanks PHX Cobras.
Thank you to Paul who helped me when my Cobra was looking pretty sad in the parking lot. He took the time to remove the bumper, he laid on the ground in his clean clothes and used his "Arizona Christmas Party" tool-kit to supply the necessary tools. Thanks Paul, you truly went the extra mile to help a Cobra owner. Bob B., thank you for the use of your floor jack ( how many Cobra owners do you know who carry a floor jack in their Cobra ? ) We were able to get the car in the air and inspect the battery and frame. I did get home safely, the days mileage was 334 miles. Also, I'd like to thank Melissa Chaz for the use of her compact mirror. We were able to check out the battery and electrical connections with it. Thank you.

John,
If I can be of any help with the glass repair give me a shout. The repair should be pretty straight forward but any scratch sucks. Jeff C

Check. Trunk tools: Wrenches, lead hammer, floor jack. The extra weight will help keep the rear wheels firmly planted on the ground
Leaving less room for the Trunk Monkey though.

Darn it, John! The one time I'm not there you get in trouble.
Jeff is talking about fiberglass repair, what did you hit?
If the repair isn't REAL serious, the next time you hit the Chicago area, I'll have my personal body man take care of it!
Ralph

Jeff, thanks for the offer. We'll be in touch with the insurance company tomorrow. Ralph, I was stopped and got rear ended. There is some light frame damage and a few aluminum panels that need to be replaced. The body has only one vertical crack in the rear center that should not be a problem to fix. However, I believe that the body has to come off to get at the bent 3/4" tubes and the trunk floor panel. I'll know more as the week progresses.

Oh, John, I didn't know some jerk-off hit you in the back, hope it wasn't one of our own jerk-offs!
Damn, hate to see a good guy get it in the a$$!

Ralph,
Let's just say John got close and personal with one of his own. Both cars need a little repair. However, the gentleman in the other car had to listen to his wife for the entire ride back to Tucson.

UUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH HH!!!
Not to make light of the situation, running into the back of one of our own guys has ALWAYS been a concern of mine at the speed and terrain we drive.
Feel bad for everyone involved!
