BTW the Asian males do NOT surrender their testes to their wives, they merely store them in a jar.The operative word here is Asian male and does not apply to me since the jars are too small. tin-man

Posi, Contrary to what Danr55 said about Chinese beer, which is good, I did state I would treat YOU and only You to free drinks, BUT not all day, that is wishfull thinking on your part. If you have been tied to the bed for so long then you will undertsand sex slaves rarely can drink more that a couple of liters at best, just enough to get them well lubricated. Now since you have, by your own admission allowed you are subservient to your wifeys demands, how much wil she really ALLOW you to drink. Me thinks I should negotiate with her first.

Roush is only five months late on their delivery, they had some crankshaft supplier issues, BUT, the engine is now in dyno. tin-man

Well, I'm not here to slam Roush, but I know one member here who shall remane nameless, whose proud Roush motor is being held captive by those scum suckers because their wonderful POS motor broke again and they don't want to honor their warranty. For myself, I don't think I'd buy a soda pop from those clowns. As to the other subject, I don't think it would be much of an issue to get Posi soused, then it would probably be fun to watch Viv's reaction.. as she slowly and painfully drags him to the car by his wanker..

Tin Man, From the time my engine was in dyno at Roush to when it got to the shop was about 1 month if I remember. From there it took another 1-2 months for install, sorting out etc. I just dont want to see you get your hopes up too much to see it before hte end of the year based on prior experience. On another note, I would be very specific(i.e. in writing) from your installer since he is in Calli about what the process is when it has to be sorted out, tuned etc. My 511 was in the shop every 2-3 weeks for the first 3 months I owned it with one small bug or another. It took me over a year to get 600 miles on it (not counting the 5 months it spent back at Roush getting rebuilt.

I hope it goes smoother for you but I have my doubts that they have ever sorted out the 511 fully. It is a monster when it is tuned right but since June 2008(mine was serial #1) I believe they have sold less than 40 of these motors.

I signed the contract with Roush January 26, 2010 and now its going to final dyno testing next week. I was informed there was a crankshft tolerance issue wth one of their suppliers that was the root cause for the delays and while a pain, I would rather they fix their issues as opposed to them trying to make the delivery schedule by slamming something thru that would only later turn into a lemmon.

I am rationalizing to myself I've waited ten years for this car so a few more months will not hurt. That said, if it don't work as it should, then that's a whole new story that Roush don't even want to think about and I have told them as much.

My biggest concerns now are to the extent I really need to learn how to drive this thing, safely, so I may enjoy what I have waited so long for, without it biting me severly in the keester.

Looking on the brite side all will be well, yep, all will be well. Naivette talking or sheer optomism, we'll see. Cheers, tin-man

who, can talk to the people who did not come to fix your windhseld and I can pretty much guarantee after they have paid a visit the people will fix your windshield the same day. These folks are real bad, in fact they are badder than bad AND can be VERY persuasive. They all wear black tee shirts that say D.F.W.M. your call,Posi, your call. tin-man
