Another Great Laughlin Gathering!
It was great to see new and old friends at the show! Too much buffets and some booze. Also, there were several volunteer joke tellers to lessen the load that I have had to carry for the past several years.
Hope all of you made home safe, warm, and dry!!
Bill & Marilyn
P.S. What happened to Bill & Marilyn Bess?
PPS Thanx Again to Mike and his Queen for doing all the work again!

What he said!
Had a great time. Met some new ppl and OLD friends. Can't wait for next year.
PS
Bill
SOME booze? Is that what you call the shot glass that you carried around all the time? By the way, that stuff is nasty.

Hope everyone had a great time at the show, especially those doing the burnouts.
Sorry we couldn't make it this year, got tied up with the Havasu (Relics & Rods Carshow) this week end. Had relatives here and just too much stuff going on to make it to Laughlin...hopefullly next year.

Yup, another great trip, except for the rain Friday part. Had some new people with us and some great joke tellers (John & George) for our nightly ring. Nice to see Dennis out with us older folks with his super looking ERA.
Burn outs were discouraged by security, so you had to sneek them. 2 dozen kit cars including some from Vegas on a day trip.
Lots of Pirates Saturday night on the trip to the Harrah buffet. Lots of "ARGH!"
Plan on it next year.

I had a great time for my first distance trip with the FIA. Going with a bunch of 'ole pros' made it a lot easier. Got almost 17 MPG on the way home. I now know I can go to Laughlin on one tank.
Thanks to all for making me feel at "home". Arrrgh!

Thanks to all who put the show on , we had a great time. Im sure glad we were able to go and meet some wonderful people, that we can call friends. Learned some things about the car, to help me do more repairs on my own. Thanks to all the men and women for all of the fun. Skully

a great weekend.. I think if I hear another "ARGH!" I'm gonna hit somebody.. Although the pirates were fun. Some of them more than others. Mikie and Ginny did a super job as usual. The burnouts previously mentioned were a bit on the wimpy side this year. Not sure what's going up with that. Maybe we need Ratboy for inspiration.

Made it home Sunday in 3 hours and 20 minutes. 66mph avg and 18.1 mpg. I am da man!
Dan, Riverside Security had something to do with the lack of many burnouts. But, I did one and saw Mikie and George do ones too.

Hey Dan...just for you............."ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH ".....We had a GRRRREAT time........Just a fun bunch of people..........although we did learn that there are joke tellers, and then there is Dan........There were some really nice cars there. I still wish I would have got a picture of the Security Lady telling Mikie off after his burnout when he got there. It is amazing how a 1.5 liter bottle of rum can disappear over a weekend like this.....that's why I have to drive Viv...she drinks tooooo much !!!!! See you all at the Xmas party..............Posi (Viv's driver)

Posi, What if we have an event....like a drive for lunch to Punkin Center or Payson.. Are you not going to show up? Will Viv show up with a different driver? Should I volunteer to be Viv's driver for that event? If I volunteer will I need to provide rum?
You know it's funny, but I never saw Viv drinking any rum. Did anyone see Viv drinking rum like her driver suggests?

Viv, was the picture of class. She was very composed and cordial, unlike her driver.
Well, it was another successful show. We even made money for our Breast cancer charity. The final figures will be ready later this week. I'll post them and where the check went.
I want to thank each and everyone that showed up this year. I especially thank the crew from AHA. Dave Martin for vote counting, even if he did win 2 years in a row. The awards were split 3 to 2. 3 going to the Californa crew and 2 going to Arizona. Maybe next year the Vegas gang will arrive earlier and participate fully. Thanks Vegas gang for showing up.
I look forward to next year. Maybe 'Sweets' will be in a better mood.
One final thanks goes to GINNY. She is the glue that keeps these events going.
Mike

How can anybody average over 12-13 mph in these things??? What do you have 8 gears or something. No way. Lying liberal democrats! Oh wait- I'am sorry...they all went away last night except for those few. "Happy days are here Again"
Sargent and I had a good time at the Falcon Field thing. Tons of nice looking Mustangs and few others.

Dan, that't why I was asking about photo size on another post. These are all AZ Cobra members and would be much clearer if I could post larger photos.

Looks like Lady Viv is giving the hired help a good talking to! He probably deserved it.
