Thank you Veterans
Wanted to THANK the Veterans for their Service to our Country.
Our prayers and thoughts come to the surface on this day of recognition. I know without the sacrifices they are, have and will make we could not be the USA. Join me in thanking a Vet in person.

I want to second that. IMO many of us like to say the words "Thank You" without realizing what sacrafices were really made while we were cruising the boulivards for chicks or sipping that cold one at the local tavern on campus corner. These guys and gals did what they were asked to do without question. We owe them a lot more than we will ever know. By the way I include myself in this group so I am not picking on anyone. Many of us don't expect to have to defend anyone or anything because someone else will do it for us ... things may change if we aren't careful.
I truely appreciate what ALL the veterans have given to allow me and my family to enjoy what we take for granted every day. Thank you, I will try and be worthy of your sacrafices.

I went to the local Vet parade here in town this morning. It had a lot of tractors and small town stuff, which is where so many of our Vets come from. It was fun, good loyal flag waving town folk all around.

Well I took my flag down tonight with great respect. This day is done but the sacrifices and dedication of many will allow me to raise our flag in the morning. Thank You
