Not Ranked
They had a lot of cars but I only saw one sold, a 1912 White. Really stunning and huge brass era car. A lot of nice classic cars from the 30's and early 40's but somewhat before my era of interest. There were a huge number of Mustangs, first style 66-67 and late models. Like 15 of them. None of the other cars beside the White made their reserves while I was there - about 30 were across the block. Some nice C2 Corvettes too, but they are plastic . A 1953 replica Corvette that I thought should have been made of aluminium as it was a kit - fibreglass though . Most of the cars I saw were driver quality but some were very nice. Some of the bids struck me as market prices but it is hard for people who have a lot of money in the cars to face the new realities. The museum will be cool though when they get all the cars in. It is in the old Mervyn's across the street from the McDonald's. Oh and the auction was put on by Leo Gephart...
