Ginny is snowed in

The Boston area is under a major snow event today. Expecting up to 2 feet.

I'm taking the cobra out for a spin when I get home in her honor.

When ya get home??? Did you go to Boston also? How is the investigation on the blocked breach or bore going, anything new? PS Sent you a notr to home email before seeing this post.

mikiec 01-12-2011 11:44 AM

No, not going to Boston. Shotgun has been shipped off to Stevens with a request they pick up the cost of shipping to them due to the nature of the problem. Time will tell.

I'll be there Saturday night.

Tell Ginny I understand. I'm going out to shovel the sunshine out of my driveway so I can work on the .. Oh, wait a minute, I don't have to shovel sunshine do I? Nevermind!

mikiec 01-12-2011 04:56 PM

I just talked to her. She has been stuck in the house all day. Her son has been shoveling all day, when not watching movies and sitting if front of the fire roaring in the fireplace.

Danr55 01-13-2011 07:14 AM

I guess she gets to spend a lot of tkme around men shoveling. Her son shoveling snow and some others shoveling other stuff.

mikiec 01-13-2011 10:54 AM

mikiec 01-13-2011 05:14 PM

That's why I'm here.

John-Tucson 01-13-2011 09:00 PM

It's winter and it's Boston. Is there an issue here?

Danr55 01-14-2011 10:29 AM

So Mikie has answered the eternal question: Why are we here?

Feel free to correct me if i'm wrong on this.....but isnt that a snowblower.....shovels never looked like that when i had to "shovel" snow....

Fitz 01-17-2011 10:57 PM

Just got back tonight from SKI Biking in Breckenridge, Co. Coming back this morning from there to Denver Airport was terrible; 3 hours in heavy snow. Pain in the ass. Make it though. Know the Boston Feeling.....

There is nothing wrong with a little snow.

:D :D

Danr55 01-18-2011 05:25 PM

An inch or so is a little snow. What that photo shows is a LOT of snow and that's not OK. Especially if you're the one on the round end of the shovel!

mikiec 01-18-2011 06:33 PM

She got more snow today.

Car Nut 01-20-2011 08:39 AM

Darn global warming. Oh, I forgot, climate change.

mikiec 01-20-2011 04:33 PM

More snow on tap for Friday. Another 5 inches is forecast.
