AZ Bob

Scotchman 03-06-2011 03:20 PM

Bob,
That's funny. You should have been a stand up comedian:LOL:

Paul Gillespie 03-06-2011 03:29 PM

Bob, I thought it was the " My wife has a hot BMW forum" or " I lost my nuts in my intake forum". Did you find him over "My KIA is Kute forum"?

Dan if you are lurking out there I hope all is well.

DWRAT 03-06-2011 09:39 PM

Boy you guys are funny.

Yes I still come around at times but I don't have a Ford to work on anymore.:D:D:D(thank God)

And yes, I do hang out on "My wife has a turbo BMW". I had to learn how to use "launch control". It has a pretty cool double clutch manual/auto transmission that is all computer controlled so I can handle it, kinda.

I am still on the lookout for Carnut at a local stop light.:JEKYLHYDE if he will play.

Tinny, did you get you car yet or are you like me???:LOL::LOL:

vettestr 03-06-2011 09:52 PM

and now looking at May. Apparently the Tru-track setup was located so that the power steering motor binds with the side of the car so it has to be cut out to make room. Also the headers were misaligned, so new ones had to be made, now who woulda thunk huh? Ron hit it right when he said forget about Christmas, I am now wondering if it will be Christmas this year:eek:. That said there is not a lot that I can do being in China, 'cept be patient, send emails and make calls.%/

I am to the point now where I just wanna get this thing all done and enjoy but the wait is getting me down, so far its been over three plus months in install and I am no longer a happy camper.

Subject change: Dan, you have to use a launch control to control your launch?:LOL::LOL:

Cheers, John, AKA, tin-man

tin-man 03-08-2011 09:52 PM

" Apparently the Tru-track setup was located so that the power steering motor binds with the side of the car"..... Are you talking about a wifiemobile? Cobras don't got no stinking power steering.. "Wifiemobiles" and trucks use power steering

Karl Bebout 03-09-2011 11:51 AM

Tinner, POWER STEERING? Next thing you'll be telling us about your air conditioning, cup holders and stereo! Oh well, its your car and you can do what you want to it. If/when you get that monster motor hummin', you will make up for any number of sins.

mikiec 03-09-2011 07:27 PM

Watchout next we will find out it has 20" wheels.

tin-man 03-09-2011 10:59 PM

Gimme a break here......

I decided on power steering when I drove the Cobra demo at Hillbank since I have a torn rotor cuff in my right shoulder and almost re-ripped it when turning into the parking lot and it ain't a pleasant experience.

For you purists, no cup holder, no air con, no radio, no stereo, or surround sound, no plush seats, no heated seats, and no wire wheels. the wheels are standard 15" and the tires are Mickey T's. It does however have power brakes. So can I join you guys whenever I get my ride, I'll follow up in the rear if I have to.:eek::eek:

John, AKA, tin-man

Danr55 03-10-2011 04:42 AM

Tinner, you can follow back there with me and listen to my stereo.. It's loud enough..

Karl Bebout 03-10-2011 09:02 AM

Danr plays his stereo real loud so he can't hear his rods knocking or his front suspension grinding itself to pieces.
