Default Super Moon Run, 3-19

Vicki and I will be driving our Cobra up South Mountain this evening to see the sunset and the "Super Moon". If anyone would like to join us, meet us at the Los Dos Molinos (8646 S Central Ave) restaurant parking lot at 5:00pm.
We will be leaving the parking lot at 5:30pm to see the sunset and the Super Moon. Hope to see you there.

Greg, hope you had a nice view. Don't know where all those clouds came from. Gotta think you ate at Los Dos, some like it hot! Great food there. Weren't you just a bit concerned about leaving your car in the parking lot, alone? Not my favorite neighborhood, especially after dark.

It was just the 4 of us. I hadn't been to south mountain in 40 years. The view and company great. The clouds did mess up a little. I didn't remember the road as being so long and windy tho. We didn't eat at Los Dos as i agree after dark not too smart. Went to Local Breeze and had special parking to ease concerns. Great time. We finally saw the moon!!

Default Super Moon run

Had a great time. Gary (hinoonaz) and Vicki came along and probably a good thing not eating at Los Dos Melones (The Two Grinders). A lot of speed bumps and police on the road, but well worth the drive for the view.
Gary took us to the Local Breeze, where they provide special parking for the Cobra's, and had one of the best meals of all time. Greg

You missed such wonderful food at Los Dos. Their Adovada is superb. The place is certainly no place for de wimps. I've been told that even their "mild" stuff is plenty spicy for most people. I, being of less than sound mind and body, have always found their food to be just nicely temped up. Ya know, if ya don't sweat, why bother?
