Picnic time
I've been sleeping on the job.
Picnic Saturday April 2, 2011 Rattlesnake Cove Bartlett lake. 10am until?
Ginny and I will be there about 8 to 8:30am to save the ramada.
As always get your Tonto National Forest day pass.
Being what you want to grill and anything else except for charcoal and condiments.

Fiesta Days Parade for Cave Creek/Carefree this year on Friday, April 8th. So no obsticles.
Will gather all interested participants at the Chevron Station on Carefree hwy just west of Cave Creek Rd.
Will depart about 9:15am for 45 minute/25+mile route to Rattlesnake Cove. No speeding or you'll be sorry.
Here is a Mapquest route: http://mapq.st/gJnnWf
If you have not purchased your Tonto Pass by then, they sell them at the Chevron but don't plan on it. They may be out. They are also available at the ranger station on Bartlett road just east of Cave Creek Rd. Don't stop fast there with Tucson John behind you.
You can purchase Tonto Passes at most sporting goods stores for $6. Like Big 5, Bass, Cabelas, Sportsmans, etc.
If you purchase online there is a fee and the pass cannot be printed out, you must wait for snail mail.
Bring meat, buns, snacks, drinks. There are usually extra plates, utensils from Mikie and Ginny.
AZ Bob

I'm envious.
Just heading into winter here and you guys are organising picnics.
Must say it has been a tough six month over here though, with floods, fires and hurricanes.
I have not heard about any of our Cobra buddies over here getting into serious trouble which is good.
Stay safe. May catch up soon for a run.
Bernie

Hey Bernie... have you given any thought to trading your cobra for a Bertrham? I had a 54 footer some years ago and it was pretty fast also.

Hey Bernie,
Good to hear from you. Everyone has been good as far as serious trouble there have been the usual number of fender benders (cracks).
Glad you have survived mother nature.

Thanks Mike yes we escaped down here, some minor flooding and damage but over all we escaped. Hope you haven't had a fender bender - cracks.

would that be Dan as in DWRAT or Dan as in Danr55?
Do their significant others let them out in speedo's?
I thought there were indecency laws in Phoenix?

First we got "guys" wearing kilts, drivin their Cobras , then we got "guys" wearing speedo's drivin their Cobras, then we got "guys" sharing rooms for the weekend, then we got a bunch of guys wearing nighties at the HAG, so I gotta ask what else is next, I am having a mind fart at the thoughts of finally meetin up with you guys. Tell me there are some fine upstanding gents left in the club who drive their Cobras like men. . Thats assuming they got their wifey's permission to go out with the boys.
Let's not talk about "Drag" Racing........ I can't handle that thought.
Cheers, John, AKA, tin-man
