Dave,
What happened to Mike's ride? Sounds like a great time was had by all. Well maybe not so much for Mike B.

Haven't heard what Mike B's malfunction was, but after he had a CHEVY tow him home, he stole his wife's beautiful new Lexus and showed up three hours late. Good that he came. He still got to eat his Italian sausages and we got to share an excellent fruit salad. He was also there to help me, Hector, and Mesa Dave field all the questions about why my car is still not on the road. I think everyone figured out the "why" after listening to our "reasons".
Jeff: you shoulda been there to absorb a little of the anti-Chevy barrage.

Karl,

Take the bet. Since Tinny has spent more time in China than in the US, he has lost his ability to get back into the states legally. He is also on the no fly list, soo..a slow boat from China to be smuggled back is his only hope. LOL

Welllll, does the bet have any provision about if Tinner's 511 is running properly or is back at Happy Jack's for a multiple month re-do? Don't get me wrong, I really do hope he has much better luck than the local guys have had with that super-mega-buck engine, but the what are the odds, given history.

you are almost correct about the time element, but I do carry more than one passport, don't look like the original picture anymore, can fly anywhere ceptin' Cuba and get sea sick, so da boats out and maybe, just maybe, I'll hop da fence near Yuma. I'll be wearin' my DFWM teeshirt, will be carryin' my SOTA, laser destabalizer, so it should be a breeze since none o' them border agents will mess with me, y'think?
