No Tim, its Karl that will be in drag, the car will remain straight, well that's if Karl can keep it straight

Karl, sorry, I know you are one fine upstandin' gent n'all but I could not let this opportunity go by it was just too sweet to let go.

Yep, I know, I owe you big time.

BTW, good lookin' ride and I look forward to meeting you on the 18th of June if you can make it.

Hi Tim, I do set the car up to drag race, but its 90% street. I like to get out with the local gang of miscreants and terriorize the roadways but I do have to have my need for speed addressed. Before I wrecked the car, two years ago, I would race it three or four times a year, just to see if I could still get it into the 10s and keep it off the wall. I'm hoping it will do even better with the changes I made to the chassis and suspension. I also had Hughes make a non-electric 4L80(e) transmission for me that will make the 90MPH++ cruises up through the mountains easier on the engine and my ears.

Eric, nope. Just in the body shop, since February, getting all the crappy issues taken care of that the body had from the guy I bought it from. Now, just need to install the engine, transmission, interior, electrical....minor stuff like that. Once I get it running, I'm going to take it back to the same shop that painted it last time. Same color. Thought about going with something unique, like mabe blue with white stripes, but didn't want to be a rebel.

One Cobra painted Chevy Orange is enough in the Valley.

Paul, who woke you up? Haven't heard from you in months! It was not Yugo Yellow...more like Marlin Mellon.

Sunset coral....sounds like a shade of pink! Thought Don's car was the only one that wanted to be pink?

Big news on Karl's Kobra today. The engine is in. Along with the transmission and the new transmission mount which fits square and the drive shaft is connected and looks straight. The transmission mount only took us two tries. Hopefully Dave will be able to post some photo's. This is really, really a big event for the build crew at Karl's garage. We can now divide up the finishing work 4 ways and make some headway to getting this project to the next stage........go cart then paint.

Will take pics and post them tomorrow since Karl has an expensive camera and won't do it.
