Hopefully they'll go from the Rat's favorite color to Don's (actually Dianner's) soon.

Don't laugh.

Please.

Bill, thank goodness you are well and recovery is underway. The fact that you have big gonads is a plus, don't forget to carry a big stick, walk with a swagger, do shots and don take chit from anyone, anywhere, at anytime, particularly Danr and that other rascal Dave from Mesa.

The catheter thing is not pleasant for sure but it beats a colonoscopy procedure whereby they take the single largest telescope they can find, supercharge it with nitrogen and stick it up yer whatsit while pretty nurses ooo and ahh. Well at least that's what they do here.

Be well, tin-man

No chit? He'll never get out of the kitchen without a chit. Marylin keeps him reined in pretty tightly.. out of necessity mind you, but tight none the less...

Default Tin Man

I did my last colonoscopy procedure with no medication of any kind. I was wide awake for the first two, and decided to try it with nothing..it is no big deal!

Bill, then you da man. I dont know what they do where you are but in Hong Kong the put you under since they insert a large telescope that has nitrogen being pumped to expand the colon and intestines so the proctologist can get a good look, takes pictures and gives you a video. Maybe its a cam coder they shove in there, feels like it, anyway I tried it once without the shot and was in absolute agony.

This issue becomes when the nitrogen extends the walls and creates significant pressure and pain. The pain gathers as the gas exits and it excruciating. Thus they put you under now untill all the gas has exited. Not a pleasant experience, but the consequences of not doing this far outweight the pain.

The nurses still shout yoo-hoo tho'.

In China yoo-hoo is a means of being polite while laughing.

So when the colonoscopy is done and you pass, the Doctor tells you you are a perfect Ahole and have pictures to prove it! Mine did anyway..

I was waiting for a shot like that. No, they are quite bold and tell you to take off your pants and shorts and watch as you do it, then they show you how to assume the position, knees up and on your side, its then they all shout yoo-hoo. Funny tho, I thought I heard an echo the last time. But the snickers were very obvious until I rolled over and their eyes bugged out and then they started to wimper, their knees quivered and they asked for my autograph. . tin-man

Thumbs up Tommorow!

I get the catheter pulled Thurs AM. My balls are so swollen that they keep trying to pull the cath out when I stand up.
I am sure that this thread meets all of the COBRA only discussions on this board.
Broberg, where are you?
