Have you guys ever considered going through Parker and follow the Colorado up. The back to Parker through Wickenburg. A little farther though.

Dennis, we have taken the route 95 through Needles, Parker and Quartzsite on the way home but it was HOT! Traditionally we lunch at Mr Dee's in Kingman and this route keeps us at higher altitude and thus cooler. Plus it is more direct so we can get to the important stuff sooner. Like a nap.

Dang
Well it looks like I won't be doing Laughlin after all. My car got towed into the shop on Tuesday for engine problems. Runs great at idle and at speed but misses, pops and hesitates under load/acceleration. So far the fuel/EFI system checks good so the ignition system is suspected. Still troubleshooting as of closing time tonight so won't be able to make the run tomorrow morning, dang.

Sandy, its not a Roush, is it? Oh wait, it is! For what you paid for that engine, I'd think that it would make enough power at idle to let you cruise, at idle, in high gear, at highway speeds.

Sorry to hear that Sandy. We will miss you. Come up later if your car is repaired. We will be out in the parking lot drinking until Sunday morning.

Hmm. I guess that sucks big time, Sandy. Now who is going to share the Scotch?

Bob B
Bob,
I will be bringing a cooler, ice, beer, and some chairs. There is a car show / flea mkt in lake Havasu that I'll be checking out Friday. It seems that the 46 Ford that i bought might need a few more parts to finish & there are not any auto flea mkts in my part of AZ.
See you tomorrow!!
Bill

Sandy, come up without the cobra. The car may not have a good time, but you will.
