Danr, just guessing here, but I'll bet you are losing 20+ hp at high rpm because of your small air cleaner.
I had a larger one and lost 22hp.

Danr, Mike B. has a guy that does polishing for real cheap. Did a nice job on my valve covers and air cleaner.
