Default Ford crate engine distributer in Phoenix ?

What is the name, phone number or web site of the guy in Phoenix who has been selling Ford crate engines for 10 + years ?

Doesn't Max at Chapman Ford (formerly Five Star Ford) in South Scottsdale, sell them? He's a vendor on ffcars, FWIW.

Forte's out of Boston, but he offers free drop-ship nationwide, too.

HTH,
Will

Yes Max does, I don't know if when 5 star closed if Champan keep the Ford Racing division, but I guess all Ford dealerships sell them.

Doesn't Click in Tucson also sell engines through his dealership? Would seem odd if he didnt since he races cars!

John, I'm surprised you didn't buy a Rousch 511. Or did you?

Tucson John, are you really going to perk up your tired old 225HP? What's the world coming to? Maybe Mikiec will be next to get with the program.

Just like Mikiec said, I am averaging 23 + MPG. Do I need 350+ HP ? I am going to add new aluminum heads and a cam to pep things up and try to retain the same MPG. I am approaching 40,000 miles on this Cobra and I'd like a little more pep but still the MPG so that I can drive to Boston this June.

Yes, I am planning to attend the FFR Open House. I was also going to go to the London Cobra Show but may go to the "Back to the 50's" show in the Minn. Both shows are on the same weekend and I've never been to the "Back to the 50's". I'll know more in early may as to whioch shows I'll be attending. I've considered driving down to drive the "Tail of the Tiger" also.

John, you mean "Tail of the Dragon" Tail of the Dragon at Deals Gap, motorcycle and sport car two lane tourism serving Tail of the Dragon at Deals Gap, Cherohala Skyway, Moonshiner28, Devils Triangle, and Six Gap North Georgia.
We have our own Devils highway here in AZ. Route 191 from Clifton to Springerville. Longer and with more turns.
Just tryin to help here

John,
I'm getting 22 MPG with my 340hp 302 Ford crate motor. The Holly 570 Street Avenger helps with the gas mileage. And this was calculated after flying up to the Route 66 Fun Run last year. We were doing over 100 on some of the stretches. I probably would get 25 MPG if I drove like Dan

Scotty, Danr gets such good gas mileage since he calculates it by the month, and his car is constantly under "revision". I calculate mine by the year and, and have managed to keep my fuel costs very low now for three years. That'll be changing, one of these days.

Are we talking about the same Dan? I have trouble keeping up with Danr. You must be referring to someone else.

Bob, I've seen your car run. You don't have any trouble keeping up with anyone.
