As of this writing it look like NO San Diego guys will join us. We should be in or around SD about 12:30pm (noonis) on friday the 27th if anyone wants to join. However, since it's a one day show and SD is so close to HB I doubt that we'll pick up any friends as we pass through SD. See you guys at the show. Come by the DJ tent and say hello. I'll be the MC.

Will do mike.

We will caravan up to HB early Saturday morning from San Diego.

Should be able to pick up about 10 cars if all goes as planned. And we know how often that happens!

If you guys do happen to go through san diego and are up for lunch around 12:30 or so on Friday afternoon, I know a great spot on the Oceanside boat harbor (Rockin Baja Coastal Cantina) a real casual outdoor spot right on the water with plenty of free parking right off the 5 north freeway at Harbor drive in Oceanside just before you go north on 5 through camp Pendleton. Let me know if interested. The wife and I will meet you there. The wives will like it too. Google it for a look at the menu. Here's the site.

Default Lunch in Oceanside

Sounds like a plan to me! I know this chain from HB area. If the timing works out for you all. Not sure exactly what time we arrive in Oceanside but should be close.

You guys might want to post this over at the FFRcars forum.

Some of the SD guys are planning to head up on Friday as well. They could join up with you when you cruise through.

Here's the thread. Meeting location for SD to HB caravan - FFCars.com : Factory Five Racing Discussion Forum

Default SD Meeting place

Mike...will you coordinate this with San Diego? Maybe they could meet us at the lobster restaurant in Escondido.

The restaurant (Rockin Baja) is on the coast in Oceanside. Escondido is about 15 miles inland.

I would prefer Oceanside. Love to look at the ocean at lunch. Let's let the San Diego guys choose the lunch stop. OK?

Hi guys, I'm one of I think two SD people heading up on Friday. I'd be down for meeting at the Rockin Baja in Oceanside around 12:30.

Keep the nice weather vibes out there...

HB flyer is on the FFR site. Take a look. I'll try to post here. Can't seem to do it. We are still on for lunch in Ocean Side, noonish. For you SD guys reading. PM me with a phone number and I'll call you as we approach SD and turn north. By the way, is there a cut off that bypasses SD and hooks up with I-5 north of SD?

Hi Mike,
There really isn't an easy bypass but you can zig zag by taking 125N, 52W, 805N. It might save you a bit of time.

I'll send my cell number later.

Mike, when you are travelling West on Hiway 8, about 5 miles before you get to the 5 freeway, there is another freeway, the 805 that goes north and joins to the 5 north in about 6 or seven miles around Del Mar. It will save some time. Look for the off ramp just past the stadium in mission valley. Can't miss it.

Hi Mike,
I tried a few times to send you a PM but for whatever reason it doesn't seem to want to send a message. Did you receive a message from me? I was trying to send my phone #. Can you try to send me a PM?

Thanks,

Sean
