Had glass company call me about installing windshield. Mine could use new windshield? Anybody have experience with anyone in Phoenix like regular car? I know Gordon can do it? Wondering if anybody had one of these glass installers do it like Safeco etc? Come to your house and put it in ....

Just want to run it through my insurance company like any windshield crack. I know these things are tricky. My windshield is "peppered" with micro chips and little repairs?

Scotty, We, mostly Mesa Dave, made a lexan windshield for my car, and what a b+++tch that was. Came out OK but sure took a lot of messing. Hope it lasts a long time. The good thing is that I bought a sheet of Lexan at Home Depot, plenty big enough for two windshields, for about $100. Did have to buy new rubber strips from Finsihline, since mine were so old.

Fast Freddies is the one I've got in my car. It took 2 of us an hour to replace. I have a couple chips in it now, but no cracks ! Can't use the windshield wipers, and just clean it with soap and water. Happy so far. I won't go back to glass. I had 3 cracks in my glass before I replaced it.

I finally after messing with the glass companies telling me it was the same as a mustang I just called Gordon? Done? He does the same thing! He will order it and run it though my insurance co which I wanted to do? Called insurance company and confirmed 0 deductible. . Drive it down there and wait couple hrs for the install?
About time for the old hard top too! Dr told me to get the hell out of the sun! Froze 7 chunks off face? Now only half half a nose and left ear partial
