Club Sandwich Great time
Just got back from the AHA and Arizona Kit Car Club show in Laughlin, NV.
Great time. 7 cobras showed up. 2 from California and 5 from Arizona Cobras. In attendance from AZ were:
Mike and Ginny FFR
Hershal and Paula Midstates
Jerry and Veronica FFR
Bill and Marylin FFR
Bob B SPF
Chuck H.
Bob and Chuck rode together in Bob's car.
The 2 california cars were NAF's. Both took awards.
On the last day the Cobras were gathered together for a photo shoot, Hopefully we will appear in an upcoming issue of kit car. After the photo shoot we decided to drive through the corvette show down the street. All Cobras were loud and did burn outs in front of the Vettes...Their lady friends loved it. Jerry cruised through very slowly..stopped and shouted 'you can't take them anywhere'...A loud roar of laughter and applause was heard.
Ginny lost money at the tables.
And I heard of a picture of one of our members wearing a ladies pink hat will surface soon.

Yes Mikie we all had a ball. The Vette folks were good sports.
There was one thing though. There was this guy who was wearing this funny hat going around telling people he was the president of the Arizona Cobras. I took his picture and reported him to the security but he left before they came.
Did you see this wierdo? Boy, some people.

Hey, BT Snake
Now that you have had your jollies by posting that made up picture.
Have you taken the pics of the jacket yet? Lets get them posted for everyone to see. Do we have a price yet? Also, need prices for the patches.
Mike
P.S. send me the photos you took of all 7 cobras.....

Hey Mike, nice try at a distraction. Hershel is right - the guy in the pink cap is really an unstable character. The jackets really looked nice and the price was "right'. John-Tucson PS. I still think that the Arizona State outline needs to be included. Hey, they might think that we are from Tucson, Ohio.

Hershal....
Thanks for the car pics. I'll get them posted after Mikief's hitching.
John, It was good to see you at the show....even with out your car. How long has it been?? How are you coming for our run to Tucson? I want to plan a run through Salt River Canyon but, do not want to conflict with the Tucson Gathering.

Hey everyone, I purchased a used 14' trailer today. This will allow me to transport the FFR chassie around town to get the odds and ends finished. I spoke with the painter today and he will be ready for the body in four to six weeks. Things are looking up - finally!!! Mike, we'll talk at Mike Foss' wedding on Saturday about the November event. I am pushing for one of the first two weekends in November because that is what you guys seemed to want during our chats in Laughlin. If you come down to Tucson really early on Saturday remember that the Casa de Los Ninos Car show is from 9 AM until 5 PM. There will be between 700 and 900 cars on display and it's a free event. John,
Not sure if I'll get ther soon enough for the show. Ginny and I will be coming down through Florence. She has never been that way before.
