Mikie, Have you heard from Scotty? Is he going to Laughlin or do I have to bring my own cigars and drink all of the scotch?

I haven't decided yet. Either Glenfiddich or Glenmorangie or Abalour.

Is anyone from the east side going up this year? Is there a caravan in the planning?

Dan, Tom Torson is looking to hookup with someone traveling through Scottsdale on their way to Wickenburg or at the Chevron station at Carefree Hwy and I-17.
I will e-mail phone numbers.

Unhappy Crying in our Beer

Bob,

We had our home sold until an asshole "home inspector" ****ed it up.
As a seller, you have no defense against a false inspection report.

My original plan was to trailer the 1946 Ford, but that is not going to happen this year.

Marilyn will have to ride with you and I'll walk. I told her not to abuse you too badly.

Can't wait to see the gang again!!

I'll bring the Yukon Jack!!

Got it Bob. Leaving the Chevron at I 17 and Carefree about 8:45 Friday morning. Anyone who wants to hook up should be there.

Looks like I'm working Friday on a remodel. Jumping through hoops for the city of Mesa. Dan, if you stop by my place on the way, I'll set you up with some stogies for the boys.

Drive up on Sat am. Happens all the time. Or drive up with Mikie who is not arriving until 9pm Friday. We will save some burn out space. No guarantee on the booze. I have an empty bed in my room if you bring noise cancelling headphones.

Thanks Scotty, but I'm only interested in setting up stogies for one boy. I can pick some up before we go up. Just hate to think I'll be smokin and tokin alone...again. You need to get your priorities straight. Fun comes first.. well, sometimes. You will be missed. Not as much as Sandy, but you will be missed... some.

Default The Fun Weekend is over

Great weather. Fun Trip. Our Friday morning got delayed in Wikieup from a semi downing a power line across the road. Took about 45 minutes extra just waiting. Delayed lunch st Mr Dz in Kingman. But otherwise smooth sailing both ways. Got home Sunday 11am. Total 440 miles and 18+ mpg. Not bad for a BB. New Cruise Control is wonderful.
The Car Show Saturday was smaller than usual but ran perfectly. We saw Mikie C clean his car! He even won a trophy for Best Silver Mercedes or something like that. Lots of drinking, gambling, napping, eating and just fun in general. Free concert sounds Sat night and entertainment by Bill Gildersleeve. The T-Shirts look great this year and Ginny spent a lot of time and effort making and raffling off a "car Quilt." Which, by the way, I lucked out with. It is on display in my Den/Office along with my "Best Lamborghini" trophy.
Saturday night dinner boat trip to Harrah's was just a riot! We had a half dozen crazy members dressed up as pirates and made a big splash everywhere. I'm sure photos will follow. Total hotel expense was only $125. You guys should all make this trip.
Ron won his class as did Almost Married Dan.
