Hersh has been cruising around in his new Mini Cooper S and relaxing at South Padre Island, what a life, oh ya, he has also been on fishing trips in Canada, he is a world traveler now...

Hi Mikie !
I'm still around. Pete has it half right but he forgot to mention all the hard work in between those travel times.
I do come on the forum a time or two to see how you all are doing. I tell you though, I really miss all you guys. Soon I hope to plan a trip out that way. I would love to do the Rout 66 cruise in May. I always enjoyed that except for Bob and his fart machine.
Paula says HI ! Back at ya.
It would be nice if any of you guys in the club would come out to Texas for a visit. Heck, it's only a 13hr drive.
Hersh

Hi Dwight,
I had plans to make the LCS but my Dad passed away on the 18th of June. He was ninety years old and still working a backhoe 3 months before he passed. I sure miss him.
Maybe next year I'll make it there. It sure would be nice to see old friends out there.
It would be something if for next year they got all us original first timers to come back.
Hersh

I missed the first one but I have been to all the others. We have 8 to 10 of us every year from North Ala.
Someone always ask if your there.
See ya next year.
Still working on my GT 40. The goal is to have it painted and a new motor by spring. Would love to do a Rt 66 trip in it.
Dwight

Hey Hershal, we do miss you. I never knew anyone with more and greater stories. You are pure entertainment. I used to live in the Dallas area. Texas is like the other side of the world from here. Hope your and Paula's health is good.
I still have my fart machine but don't need it as much as I get older.

Here is another HOWDY to Hersh and Miss Paula. We do miss ya and you know you are always welcome. It is a good thing Texas is way beyond a tank of gas or you would have to start a boarding house to bed us all down LOL Don't forget to Miss P an extra hug for us. Jeff C

Dwight, I look forward to seeing your GT. getter' dun !
Bob, I thought about buying one of those fart machines but then I realized I am a fart machine. I have an extra feature too called aroma.
Clois, you know it plain bugs the hell out of me that I can't be at R&G. It's the most fun you can have with your car and friends.
Jeff, Paula says HEY ! To you and Kathy. She says we are going to do all we can to make the Route 66 cruise. Who knows, we might bring along a contingency Texas Cobras
This is my last year I have to work on the property. I should have most all of it done by March for sure. Then its party time. I'm doing nothing but cruises and some track events.
I also might build another Cobra. I gave my Midstates to my daughter and son- in law. They are really excited about getting involved with a club and go to some events. I think they will join the Mile High Cobras in Denver as they live close by there. I just freshened up the old girl and put a second roll bar on her. All she needs is a paint job and she will be as pretty as ever.
Hersh
