Thanks Bob. He's always so organized. I guess at his age you have to be.

I tried that the first time I went. As I recall, Jim sat with me while Bob brought back gas. Not going to do that again.

Please say hi to the Delgadillos at the Snowcap for me. It is a great historic place. We stop there on the way back from our river trips and I stop by any time I'm in the area.

The Rte 66 2013 Fun Run is now in the books without any serious incidents. Our hats are off to Ginny, Mike and Judy for once again providing a memorable and enjoyable outing. We continue to look forward to these group get-togethers, even though they are tough on the waistline! Again, many thanks.

Route 66 is Chicago to LA. My parents drove this route on their honeymoon in 1937 in Dad's new Cadillac. Took a loooong time. Would not like to attempt it even today.
66 Fun Run was, as usual, a great fun run. Lots of joking, eating and drinking. Specially the drinking. Just ask Ralph and Dave and Bob and Steve and Dan and Bill and Jerry. The rest is a blurr.

Karl, Ralphie invented drinking. Keep him away from that Blue Moon stuff.
