Looking for blue & white cobra for commercial being shot next week in Scottsdale, AZ

If you want your ride in a commercial being filmed next week, pm me so I can put you in touch with the production company.
BTW they are great to work with.
I have multiple times before and was treated VERY WELL.

You will be compensated, plus, they have awesome food catered all day each day and no-one will be driving your car.
Location is north Scottsdale next Wed, Thursday or Fri depending on car availability. You can drop the car off, or stay and watch. No one will be driving it. It is just parked for the scene.

Wish I was a little closer. I think I have what you need.

mr0077 09-13-2013 12:18 PM

Yeah, same here.

Karl Bebout 09-13-2013 12:31 PM

Jeez, good luck finding such a unique color combination!

Now, if you wanted "Chevy Orange", I know just the car. Danr would be your guy.

Danr55 09-13-2013 02:24 PM

But Danr has a red car. If for.some reason they decide on red let me know.

Fast289 09-13-2013 03:39 PM

If they need red, I have the car for them, she is very shy, but photogenic. Wait, my car is in another county and doesn't have an engine.

I guess they will need to use the orange car.

:(

This is an alternative..

I'd be happy to have them use my Cobra but I could only do it on Wednesday. I'm leaving that next day for the Coronado Speed festival.
Let me know,
Bill

I think Broberg's car is a perfect fit!

Karl Bebout 09-14-2013 02:15 PM

I'd agree that BobB's car is a great fit. He keeps it nice, has nifty toys, and he drives it a bunch. Not a trailer queen, except when he decides to goof off and haul it to the SPF get-to-gether or the sheep-herders convention.

Scotchman 09-14-2013 07:51 PM

You know he keeps those sheep boots for a reason. Montana men always carry a pair ! :JEKYLHYDE

Not that I have an opinion, but never ever let a production company get near anything you own. Run the other way.

When the key grip rests his butt on your car with his riveted jeans, good luck finding anyone who knows anything about what you are talking about. "Oh, did our camera crane fall on your car? We sure hope you have insurance, because we don't. Even if we did, you'll never hear from us again. Have a nice day!"

It happens all the time. Even to the top tier companies that do mega-million dollar films. Even with the best of care it happens. It's never intentional. But it happens.

Yeah, but who owns the car and is it ok?

Welcome to Instant Rimshot

vettestr 09-16-2013 03:18 PM

A film company is very well covered with insurance !!!!! You are given an insurance binder and you agree on a sales price or value right up front. For the price I put on a car they use it could be fixed a couple of times. LOL
