Ralphie, I feel your pain brother! I've unjustly received harrassment from the AZ Cobra guys for years and I've never understood why. Here I stand, a fine fine upstanding young man, in the midst of my prime, livin' life at the foot of the cross, eating at the Y every opportunity I get.

Mikiec, Danr was sorta right.
Yes, not Power Rd., but not on Sossaman either. He hit .500 which is about as much as his car is running.

Lee, you just missed a nice car show at the Chandler Harley dealer last Saturday. Ten Cobras showed up and there were about another 70 cars there, in addition to a bunch of bikes. (Cobra drivers are generally an easy touch when there's free food involved) Check the CC site. March 1st is a big show at a church in Chandler and a bunch of us are going. Nice to have a big show with no registration fee. Turns my crank to pay to provide an item of interest at some of these shows. Look at Arizona Cruis-In's for a pretty up to date listing of activities around the state.
Close to you are a couple good sized weekly shows. Friday nights at the Albertson's on Ellsworth, just north of Baseline and Saturday nights at the KMart on Power and Hampton (close to Southern and just East of Superstition Mall). There'll be at least 200+ cars at these shows in this nice weather. Don't know of runs or Cobra get togethers until the annual picnic either the first or second Saturday in April, the big Cobra show in Huntington Beach April 26th, which I think is the same weekend as the Rt 66 run. Several of us, from the East Valley, are going to Huntington. Enjoy our little slice of Paradise and beware the Ralphie!
BTW, a bunch of the Northside degenerates get together somewhere on their end of the valley. I'd advise against it. They are a seedy bunch!
