Default Engine Emission Tester for sale or trade

I have an older United Technologies / Hamilton Test Systems model #200 Engine Emission Tester which displays PPM HC and %co. I need to sale or trade it to make room in the garage. It's approximately 2' x 2' x 2' in size.

I used to work for the people that made it or used it, I can't remember which.

The same model was also marketed as a Snap-On unit. Brand new they were about 1200 to 2300 dollars.

Default Emissions Tester

Do you want this for something other than a Cobra? As you know the Cobras' are exempt here… Or am I missing something? Merry Xmas all.

Gofast, you're missing the point. Scotty is wanting to sell or trade it to get it out of his garage.

You are missing something. Cobra is exempt, depending on how it is registered. That is especially true of cars transfered fro. States that don't recognize special construction vehicles.

GoFast,
I really appreciate your input. A lot of these guys are not only Cobra nuts, they are car buffs. I figured giving them 1st shot at this item for next to nothing would be a good thing.

Bob, sounds like Mister Bill is inferring that there are smog testing/repair shops across from all/many/some/maybe one, state emission testing station. I think I did see such a thing, once in CA, but since I don't give a fork how they do it in CA, doesn't fly for my reasoning.

The emissions tester now resides in Jeff Classic's garage. Found a good home.

My place is the proud new home for the 2 gas analyzer. Scott has liberal visitation and for the record = he has liberal visitation, he is NOT a visiting liberal). Mr. Gofast I don't want to get you started.
