Looking in Arizona/Nevada
I am looking for a location to rent a Cobra (kit cars ok) for my 28 year old son for his birthday in February. He is 6'8" so that may be an issue. I found a couple of locations in Las Vegas but one seems extremely high for one day and the other appears to have a poor track record with customer satisfaction. Any help would be greatly appreciated. He is trying to decide if he wants a kit car or not and this will help him decide.

At 6'8", his choices are going to limited. Better be looking at a Backdraft or other longer wheelbase car.
Also, not inferring anything but does he have experience with cars like these? They can be really dangerous for those w/o a lot of seat time. Just saying.

I've not heard of anywhere that a cobra, kit car of otherwise, can be rented.

I agree with Dan. There used to be a guy in Payson that rented them, but that was many years ago. He sold both of his cars. Paul bought one. The other went to someone in Mesa, who I heard later sold it.

I think a 6'8" driver might fit in Jeff's CobRay C3: Cobras N Vettes Lots of room in the cockpit. Just need the right seat. Jeff can do anything.

Lone Star cars are also stretched a little so probably have more leg room. Doubt that you'll find any one, other than in Las Vegas, that will rent a Cobra, and it certainly would never be an original.
