If you watch that Buying Alaska show, it's kinda like that. No garage, no running water, and you have to catch your dinner.

Weather forecast now up to 72 degrees and sunny for Saturday. Don't miss out.
Might need an ice cream cone.

Unlike Alaska where lots of seafood is available, the only thing you might catch down here is crabs!

We should be there, without the car, unfortunately it's still in Idaho. Looking forward to seeing everyone again.

Hi all.

If I make it tomorrow it won't be until 3 30 or so. Still traveling. I doubt there will be parking then or everyone will be gone.

Cheers and appreciate the sunshine!!!

Default Pavilions

I will be there around 10ish, after a hearty breakfast at Venues Cafe...

For those who live near Cave Creek/Carefree ( or want to drive there ) and are unaware, it's a nice bar/ restaurant in the Sundial area of Carefree which opens Saturdays around 7 and has a full breakfast menu ( and pretty good basic buffet ) by 8, catering to the classic/hotrod collector types that pack the parking lot with cars that normally don't surface at Pavilions. The regulars that quickly welcomed me ( no pretense nor attitudes like I've experienced in Scottsdale ) have become friends and I've seen some unique and rare cars, and shared great conversation with true car guys. Highly recommended. Alan the owner and the whole staff are friendly.

Just my $0.02- your mileage may vary

Robert

Got a guest joining me with a proven SPF race car (Run & Gun 1st place) and a great professional racing history. Plus he's just plain funny.

Bob, et al,
Talked today with Bob Ream while tuning my F I. He says it will be crazy tomorrow and that we will need to arrive earlier than 1100 hrs. He said the south side will be filled first with the BJ contingent of cars so we will set up in another area (West or NW?). I will be there around 0930 and park in an area that looks friendly. Bob said the organizers are not too friendly at this particular show. See 'ya.
