Darn, darn, double darn!
I was sooooooo looking forward to being back at Kirk's Bar, where all me troubles started when I first met the Arizona Cobra guys back in 2008.
(Just kidding, it's been a fun ride since then with all you yocals )
I have to be at the annual Iwo Jima Flag Raising Memorial in Sacaton, driving our VFW commander in the parade. The past three years it was our WW II veteran I escorted in the Cobra, sadly he left this earth 3 months ago.
After the parade ends I'll call to see if Kirk's shindig is still in progress and go there if it is.
Ralph

Danr, I've decided to go to the Drags on Sunday, so I'll make it to Kirks Saturday. Probably head on over to the show at Kmart later in the afternoon.

Lee, I'm not sure we want to let you hang with us if you think it will be "good to see Ralph again". That puts a big question mark next to you....

Lee, don't listen to those guys, they're all lairs!
They are all like jealous high-school girls, they don't want to share me with anyone else!
Dave, Lee and his wife are in Mesa for the winter. We'll all be out of your hair when your driving temps are in the 100's.
Ralph
P.S. I will try to make it after my ride in the parade.
(NO, Dan, NOT the Gay Pride Parade. )

Ralphie. Did I say that? Where is your head? Never mind I don't think I want to know.

Lee, the one you most have to watch out for is Dan, but the rest of them are not far behind! Especially MikieC. Once you go back you'll never be the same, the problem is you will NEVER be able to tell anyone about what happened to you.

Ralphie, does that mean you are breaking up with me and Dan? More than likely you want Karl all to yourself.

The place is called Road House Grill or Double Duece, correct?
Just got a flyer in the mail and no mention of Kirk's.

Hope nobody looks for a sign that says Kirk's. 'taint there. It is plenty easy to find. Less than 1/4 mile east of Power, on Main St, north side of the street. It'll be the place with Danr D. Letch taking pictures of, oh, I don't know...

Well, when everything is said and done, it was a pretty good show. Between the Panteras, Cobras, and Lotus, we have about 22 cars. A good turn out. Here are a few photos from today.
