1,000 miles since Jan. 1, 2014.
During our drive on Sunday I passed the 1,000 mile mark since Jan. 1st. Not bad for a retired guy with three other cars that I also drive.
Come on Arizona Cobras, who will beat me this year ?

buddyg, thanks for the comment. No, I don't have any pictures because I never did learn how to post them. I've read the instructions a few times but I get lost quickly.
I will be passing the 46,000 mile mark, total miles , this Sunday when we drive to Sierra Vista.

Hi Dave, Sierra Vista is 70 miles to the southeast of Tucson. Take I-10 east to Hiway 90 south and you are there. It's at the 4,000 foot level.
There is a very, very, good German restaurant there that we'll have lunch at.
Come on down, we accept Phoenicians.

I have no chance of catching you. We've endured about 30" of snow so far this season, and about 15" is still on my yard.
I envy your weather during this portion of the year. However..........the rest of your year is too WARM!! In June 1994 I was a passenger in a 427 Cobra while riding around Phoenix. It was 112 degrees. They told me it was 116 the day before.

John
A road trip is what you need. Come over we can do a run up the east coast here..
I am at the 15,000 mark now in two years in the Kirkham. David at Kirkham suggested now run in - enjoy the drive..
Considering I have been away for ten weeks in France and the UK in the last twelve months I am averaging quite a few miles each month when home.
Heading to Scottsdale in early May to catch up with Steve. My son and I are doing a few cruise nights in LA and heading to Palm Springs.
He is into the '32 Ford roadster lifestyle and wants to visit Foose, SoCal and Brizio's in San Fran.
Todd has a Californian modern home he is restoring and renovating, so we will doing the Eichler homes in the LA area and then the Palm Springs modern home tracts.
I will chase Hershal to see how he is going time wise - he may come over to Scottsdale. If not I must make a trip to catch up with them in Fredericksburg Texas.
Need to check how far you are away from Scottsdale. May try and catch up with some of you guys - Mikiec etc... Not sure on the instance but let's see if possible..
Glad to see you are enjoying the driving and time at various towns.
Stay safe.

Hi Bernie, it is nice to hear from you again. We met at Hershal's many years ago and even drove to the show in London, Ohio. I remember you climbing in and out of the GT-40. If Hershal can't make it to Scottsdale perhaps we can visit him in my Cobra, it's only a long days drive away. Tucson is 90 miles from Scottsdale.
On another note, can a completed FFR Cobra replica be imported into Australia ? I'd ship it there and tour your interesting country but I would not want to bring iot back here.

What John does not tell you is that his odometer trips 1 mile for every 100 feet. LOL.
I'm right behind you this year. Have about 800 miles since the first if the year.

"TRUST ME!" That's what you said last time, "Trust me, I'm a doctor!" and then the lights went out...

yes 2009
I think he had wore out one Cobra and had just bought that one. I also think he passed thru all the blank states on his trunk map before he got home.

John did all 48 continental states in 30 days. That has to be some kind of record.

Mikie, John has all kinds of records that's why he has to keep moving fast, from one state to another.
