Great run and it is always great to spend time with "Cobra guys". The views were very good too.
Thanks Lee and Karlene.

Fitz, I would change the belt too. It had some slippage and wear on your trip home. Cheap insurance for the next run.

'Twas a beautiful day. Got a tiny bit chilly when we made altitude, but the sunshine was excellent. Food at Maria's in Kearney was marginal and of course the service stunk. An extra 12, or so, people put them in the weeds. Thought poor Scottie was going to starve before his food arrived. At least the waitress comped his bill, so maybe he liked it a little better than I. I'll lobby harder, next time, to eat some place else. I didn't get around to gassing up along the way, but did dump in the 2 gallon can when we stopped back in Superior for a bladder break. Good that I did. That two gallons was exactly what I had left when I pulled into a gas station in East Mesa. Woulda been on fumes, otherwise. Close call.

My tacos were really good, although I never got my rice and beans. I felt sorry for her.
