Hey guys, quick update from Ahwatukee. Heading up to meet you at I-17 and Carefree Highway 10am. Planning what I think is enough time but hard to know about traffic. Don't leave without me!

Wife bailed on the trip but I have a buddy riding along instead so I still have HOV lane which should get me to meet point well ahead of 10am barring some sort of a pileup along the way. See ya soon. My mobile in case needed 574-304-0743.

oh, and Dan, I have a nice Speyside scotch just for you. Its aged in bourbon barrels cuz even the guys at Balvenie know how to upgrade their product. Scotch = before enlightenment, Bourbon = post enlightenment...we'll have both to compare, how's that?

That's fine. Looks like we have a tasting party for the evening.. I have a nice 18 year old aged in Sherry casks. Should be an evening to remember.

Pete, glad to hear you are going to make the Rt. 66 run. Sorry to hear that Jennifer won't but its probably for the best. There are some people that tend to make inappropriate (rude) comments about beautiful women, after they are about half way through their second 12 pack of Curz Beer. Not naming any names but they have the same initials as BobB and Ralphie. Maybe I'll see if I can get papal dispensation to jump off the wagon and try your single barrel bourbon, if offered. Danr and I are meeting at some gas station, tomorrow morning for our northbound departure and you'd certainly be welcome to join us, but it would be a bunch of miles out of your way. Not sure if you've seen Danr's car. It so rarely runs but he says THIS engine is much better. Well, at least its running, he sez.

Pete, Karlos is right as usual... it is rarely running these days. If anyone recognizes "rarely running" it's Karlos the King of "Rarely Running". He throwing darts at me because mine was down for 2 months. Ah well, you have to make allowances for guys who pull thier hair back so tight, in little pony tails, that it effects their memory. We'll see ya'll tomorrow.

Pete, glad you get to go. The wife will miss out on a great time, or is it you will have a better time.

Looking forward to seeing more of the Karlos v. DanR cage match in first person tomorrow!

Karlos of course you're welcome (as are all) to share the best bourbon the world has to offer (having tasted most I'm authorized to say this) but don't do anything that gives me problems with my conscience.

I'm really looking forward to this, should be a blast.
