Check with Larry. He may know of some for sale, or better yet order one from him and he will deliver down here, he has family living in the valley.

It is a trailer for your cobra, enclosed and economical. Very nice...

I've had my SE for 10 years and have towed about 30 - 40,000 miles with it.
Couldn't be more pleased with the unit. Light weight, easy to load and tie down and very little wind resistance/turbulence with it. Tows very comfortably at 75mph behind an 04 Ford Ranger with a V6 (~200HP).

Hey, Dan..
If you get one in the next 60 days, I'll let you use it to tow my car back to NH. I'll pay gas.

Just leave the Cobra here, you will be back around February most likely.

Ratty, Mesa Dave and Danr have had their SE trailer a few years now and they bought it used. More people have borrowed it than either of them has used it, except Dave did drag it along behind their Queen Mary MoHo one summer. He said that it towed beautifully and performed great. Down side is that it is so small, that it takes a a few contortions getting in and out of the car and they've had to replace some zippers, because, even after keeping them well lubricated, they tended to die, probably from our AZ temperatures. They are cetainly well designed and well made but do really limit the size of the car you can fit. Good Luck finding one used as it seems like most owners really like them and hang on to them. For me, I'd probably spend a little more money for a 22'-24' aluminum tilt trailer. It would serve my needs a little better.

It think your right about the AZ weather being a problem for the outer shell.
I have also been looking for a low hauler which is a low profile enclosed car hauler but most of them are really for Harley's and there 7 foot wide instead of 8.5 foot wide.

Ratboy, I have used Dave & Dan's trailer twice to haul my cobra to Georgetown, CO. Towed with 2011 F150 with 5.0 coyote motor. Towed smooth and got 13.8mpg. Once all freeway through NM, and once cross country through UT. If I was to buy a trailer however, I would look to an enclosed aluminum one in the 20 foot range with a low ceiling and side doors. Car is 13 feet so you have space for tires, tools, luggage, etc. Unless you have indoor parking for your trailer. The Arizona sun is simply too strong for canvas and tires to stand up to.

I will probably be selling mine in a couple of months. So far I have only taken one trip with it (up to Murphy, CA.)
I will be trailering in about a month to Sacramento and back.
I live in Simi Valley, CA.
There you have it, almost new, only two trips. I think the nubs on the tires are still there. I have pics.
I would consider $5,200. Call (805) 587-6707 if you want to discuss.

I would guess that because of the length and wieght of the trailer/vehicle, you would need a larger vehicle.
