Good to see youse west-siders last night. My ride home sure started to be UN-enjoyable. The high wind was endurable but then I got to the rain just East of I 17. Made it to RT 51 and traffic was not passing me and I was down to 30MPH. Couldn't see anything but the white line andd tail lights in front of me. Mahnged to get off at Bell Rd. and limped into an AM PM. Fortunately, they were not at all busy so I holed up under their canopy for about 90 minutes. The rain didn't last that long, but with no wipers, I wanted to wait until the road spray would be minimal. I did attempt to leave after the first 45 minutes and no sooner left shelter and it rained again.(of course). Finally, the ride home was actually pretty pleasant. Pavement was totally dry, my windshield kept clean and I had a leisurly, enjoyable drive home. The border station into God's Country was closed so I didn't even have to show "my papers".

Tucson John. Called about 5:00 last evening. He was headed for Mike and Ginny's goodbye function. He was on the side of the road near Hwy80 in a dust storm. Said he just drove through the worst rain storm ever. About 8:30 he calls again. He's in the parking lot at 83rd looking for cobras but they had all left. That is a good friend. I hope to deserve a friend like that.

That Tucson John is quite a guy. A man of his word. Someone you can depend on. Thanks for all your efforts John. I think I'm in love.

John called me about 5 minutes after I got home. We had a good conversation.

Fitz brought the Sargents up. Good to see them.

My drive home was nothing like Karls. Just dust.

Thanks to everyone who showed and the gifts I got.

Ginny and I are planning on making the Anniversary/Christmas party in December.

Mike and Ginny
Good luck and good bye,we'll miss you. Thanks for all the help getting us started with the Arizona Cobras. All this talk about getting Ginny a snow shovel sounds like you're moving up with us in Idaho. I got Vicki a brand new snow shovel, she doesn't use it at all, I must have gotten the wrong color.
Good luck to you both. Greg/Vicki
