Ride this Monday, 1st
Anyone up for a ride Monday. 3 day weekend, and we're still in town ! We're meeting at the station at Fountain Hills at 6am Monday morning. Depart around 6:15 for the Payson Airport for breakfast, then home ! :MECOOL: 3 of us so far.

Dang early! Scotty, we went to Globe last week. How about up to Jake's Corners, around to Globe and head for home. Breakfast in Globe? Leave Fountain Hills about 6am? Going so early will keep out the Pikers.....

Monday might work if we leave early. I about roasted coming home from Globe last week.. We could take a run to Payson for breakfast at the airport up there.. They open at Six AM.. 6:00AM, 0600.. Yes Bob there is a 6AM..

Can you do Monday ? We have the Coronado Trail Run coming up on the 12th, so a shorter run to Jakes or Payson might be better. |
Monday also works for me. Pretty much any destination. The Payson Airport sounds fine too. Haven't been there in many years.

I can't make it. To make a long story short, the home I sold closed on Friday and a paperwork error prevented me from closing on my new home. So now with the Holiday weekend I won't be in the new place until Tuesday. I will be living in a Holiday Inn this Holiday Weekend with everything packed and not sure where anything is. I called the Crosswinds Restaurant (Payson Airport). They are open Monday, Labor Day until 3pm. In case you're wondering.

No, I'm not trying to make up for all the down time I had. Just like to drive the car and that's why I built it. I thought Superstition Bill was be joining us, since "he needs to get more seat time to be comfortable with the car", but NOOOOO. Scottie, sounds like it's just you and me, bucko. Mesa Mike is probably going to join us in his TR since his Cobra is recovering from being attacked by a road gator. I'll look for him where Bush Hwy. meets the Beeline. He did say that he'd hit the Beeline as soon a he heard us coming. |
