Danr,

"Karl, There are lots of cars on that site.. So many I may just buy another one to keep the red one company.."

Sounds like exactly what you should do. Then MAYBE, you'd have at least one car running.

Danr55 10-03-2014 08:41 AM

Now what did I ever do to you to deserve such treatment? ... ?? Forget I asked that.. Have you found one yet?

Karl, as long as Dan doesn't work on the car, he shouldn't have a problem. Maybe you should offer, kind soul that you are. Gold and orange are good colors together.

I would also like a second one but the first one is already killing the bank account.

Here's one for you Karl, I know you have a pocket full of insurance money and you can still make Laughlin.
SUPERFORMANCE COBRA MKIII

Karl Bebout 10-07-2014 08:44 PM

Ratty-Dan,

Very nice car but above my pay grade and not the body style/model I'm wanting.
Thanks for thinking about me.

Bob Broberg SPF667 460BB 10-07-2014 11:50 PM

Karl, you are welcome in Laughlin even with your Prius. We could use a normal car to carry the charcoal and beer. Nice car though. Ford motor and all.

I thought you might. I can fix that. Go look at the Pelosi pinup.

Scotchman 10-09-2014 07:43 AM

Karl,
Build a new FFR with a Boss 302 !!

Karl Bebout 10-09-2014 04:12 PM

Scottie, I've been looking at a black ERA 289FIA over in San Diego, that looks pretty good. Its a little above my pay grade but sometimes money talks. Its got a '70 Boss 302 with a 5spd. Sounds like a nice combination. There's also a sweet white 289FIA I'm also looking at. Difficult decision and am having to sell a few of my bang-em-up toys to come up with some additional cash.

Bob Broberg SPF667 460BB 10-09-2014 10:04 PM

Here's a local "Mikie" car: 1965 Shelby Cobra Looks pretty good for the starting price. Just add some black stripes.

Karl, I believe I may have found the perfect car. It may be a bit expensive as it is a genuine AC car. Check it out and let me know what you think. If you are interested, I can put you in touch with the owners.. 1922 AC Cobra
