Hello Dan,
My name is Joseph Chiaccio from the Simeone Foundation Automotive Museum
in Philadelphia. I found your email address on ClubCobra.com and I wanted
to reach out to you regarding our 1964 Shelby Cobra Daytona Coupe CSX2287.
The car was recently nominated for the prestigious International Historic
Motoring Awards "Car of the Year" award. Since the award's creation in
2011, no American car has ever been nominated for this prestigious award.
Among the 8 nominees for this year's award, CSX2287 is the only car which
has survived in its original condition.
We are working hard on a "get out the vote" campaign, and we were hoping
you might be willing to pass this message along to your members to
encourage them to vote.
If the Daytona Coupe were to win the award it would be yet another in a
long line of historic firsts for this very special car. I'm sure "Ol'
Shel" would be smiling knowing that he whupped 'em all again.

Also, please let me know if we can make any accommodations for you or your
members whenever they might be in the Philadelphia area. We also are
working on cataloging our Library and would be willing to assist with any
research materials that might be required.
I can be reached at
joe@simeonemuseum.org and 856.577.2266 if you should
have any questions. Thanks for your time and consideration.
Best,
Joseph Chiaccio
