not selling due to rear end. Charlie got her fixed up and the car runs and drives better than ever. Loving it. But alas my lovely wife doesnt seem to enjoy getting beat up by the wind as much as i do. So we need a toy that has windows and a convertible top. We've compromised on a 2009 Viper in a similar red color. So Scarlet 1.0 gets replaced by Scarlet 2.0. I'm certain the Viper wont be as exhilarating as the Cobra, but I'm gonna try to love it just the same. And Wifey should be in the car with me much more which was the goal from the start. So tell all your friends about a fantastic and very sexy red cobra being available. I'll enjoy the hell out of my last few days with her.

I hope you'll still come out with our group. Vipers and Cobras, Bourbon and Scotch ! A match made at, well, Happy Hour ! I have a buddy in Chandler that has a blue with white striped Viper. Maybe we can get the both of you together for one of our outings. |
Pete, THANK GOD you didn't buy a Corvette, as you had mentioned! That would have been just tooooo much! Think you made a good choice with the Viper. I always liked their styling. 'Way over the top, caracature-ish, almost like a super bad car in a cartoon, except truly a bad MoFo. Now, just figure out how to make it not sound like a Massey-Ferguson....
You and Jan are certainly welcome to continue hangin' with the Cobra bunch, but be forewarned, there will be repercussions. I've endured it for 15 years with my Chevy powered car. |
Def want to hang with you guys still, so count on it. And Karl I deserve all the jabs I get and will take my lumps with a (bourbon induced) smile. You got the description on the car right. We call it a redneck Lamborghini which suits me perfectly. Looking forward to several rides in cobra before she goes though. Back home Sunday night from last biz trip. Sabbatical officially under way oct 29! Can't freakin wait.
