Default Phoenix Children's Hospital Toy Drive 2014

Had to update the subject line so we all know what we are donating to.
Here is The "Child Life Wish List" Child Life Wish List | Phoenix Children's Hospital
Of course they will take any new, unwrapped toy.

Here is their "Toyland Guidlines" Toyland - Presents for Kids in the Hospital over the Holidays | Phoenix Children's Hospital

Honorable charity and it's even close to home.
Thanks again to Dr Bruce for spearheading this.
We will have to see about a troop of cobras delivering toys. May have to ask Dan Shinn to help with that one since it was his idea.

It would be nice to get as many cars there as we did for Hospice. I like this idea.

"Dan is glad to organize this escapade."

Would that be Danr D'Orange
OR
Ratti-Dan-Dan?

Karl, loosen your pony tail.. The RED car is an indicator of which Dan is glad and which Dan is Ratti Dan Dan.

Nutster, what I read of the requirements was they wanted new, unwrapped, very PC, non scary stuff. No guns, weapons, or drums....Bob.

I was referring to contact requirements for large donations and the necessary paperwork, also plans to drop off as group of cobras may require some sort of approval. That's all, I am sure the Doc has it under control.

Well, maybe a drive by and drop them off at 45 mph. Let them sort everything. All I am going to do is make a couple of calls and arrange some times to pick up and drop off. If it gets too complicated, we'll find a different way to do it.

Default Getting Closer

The person at PCH in charge of the Toy Drive has been notified and contacted. They are excited. Nothing firm yet but we are aiming at Saturday, December 13th for the delivery procession. This event will be promoted by the PCH communication people to all media including TV as the "Kickoff event" for this year's collection. Thus they are going to open their drive early just for us.
There are still confirmations to work out but set this Saturday aside for a real experience.
I'm thinking Santa hats.

AZ Bob

I love this. Just the kind of visibility we need.

If it makes the news let me know of any links you get.
