Westgate Hot Rod Night Cruise In Car Show
We have been invited by Nancy Perry to highlight her last show of the season on Wednesday evening November 19th at the Westgate Entertainment District. We will be the featured cars in the center circle of the Waterdance Plaza from 5pm to 8:30pm more or less.

We will need a pledge of at least 7 cars like we had at today's show. I'll be there, Scott, Bill, Don. How about Bill H., Dr Bruce?
Entry is free but I suggest we get there a bit early, like 15 minutes.

I have sent an e-mail to Ms Nancy letting her know we are coming, weather permitting. Current car count I gave her is 12 but told her a more exact count, for more or less, will be coming in the days before the event.

Bob Didn't you used to go to 83 Ave. before it was closed? I know you and the West Siders have refused to attend 67 Ave. over how the 83 show went down. Some said they would not show cars to put money in her pocket, including me. Did you get new information or what changed?

Jeff...those of us that were not around during the 83rd fiasco are not of the same feeling as some of you who were there. That was then and this is now. I am more concerned with getting our club and cars into the public eye. So far she has treated us well but we'll keep an eye out. |

I have no dog in this hunt, but I will put in my 2 cents worth. The person putting on this event is as far as I am concerned is untrustworthy, and she is using the club to line her own pockets. I hear that, it is all in the past, and is time to move on. Remember the old adage, those who forget the past are doomed to repeat it.
Check with some of the clubs she has dealt with and why they no longer do anything with Nancy Perry Productions.
All I can say is be-careful in your dealings with her.
Again, I have no dog in this hunt. But, I hold this Club near and dear to my heart.

Well, I did too. Seems I don't get to quit until I quit. My retirement is on the wire with the latest date of March 21. So after that I'll just be coaching coeds... WHat a life!
