Time is getting short. For anyone who wants to get a room and join the insanity, we will be at the Travelodge in Kingman.. 1-928-757-1188, not the Best Western as I had previously lied to so many people about.. TRAVELODGE.. TRAVELODGE... TRAVELODGE...
This is one of the three or four best runs of the year. If you've not done it, you owe it to yourself to try it at least this one time.. If you want to pre register, you can do so by calling the Rt. 66 Asociiation at 928-753-5001. They will take all of your information over the phone and your package will be waiting for you in Seligman.

Hey Bob.
Are we still planning on a 10am departure from the Chevron (I guess) at I-17 & Carefree Hwy on Friday May 1st???
Ya, I'm chomping at the bit and ready to go already.
Any idea how many Cobras we may have on this trip? (Based on the past)?
Hey Jeff C,
You planning on making it?
Your car should be ready by then according to you.

Yes Dan, 10am departure from the Chevron station just east of the I-17 on Carefree Highway. This is a great cobra trip. I am expecting a good turnout. If you need a number guess I will submit 10 plus other non-cobras. We always hope Jeff can make it.

If Sugarman shows up, we'll introduce him to the Beachboys and see what happens..

Gary will be happy to know I have added a dozen Eagles and Creedence tunes. If Dan Shinn figures out how to link up we will have some tunes competition. I think he prefers Cher and Abba.

You two have a lot in common with Hogan's Goat. DanR likes the Beachboys and the Ventures and Ray Charles and Stan Getz and Antonio Carlos Jobim.. You could have gone a lot of places, but CHER? Paahleeze!!.

Sad news...
Due to an exceptionally large donation to Uncle Sam this year, the funds are not there to make the trip. Bob and Darrell thanks for the offers.
Soo. please down a few extras for me, Smoke a stogie for me, Do a burn out for me. And most importantly drown out any playing of Sugarman.
Have fun be safe.

The flights we would take for that trip are booked solid. Therefore no freebes. But, thanks for the offer on the room.

Mike, welcome.. that's two runs in less than a year. What's up with that? Oh, did you call the Travellodge and get a room or are you bunking with Scotty or Bob Broberg?

Welcome Mike. This is a great cobra trip, weather permitting. While it's true we both have an empty bed in our rooms, you would need earplugs for snoring or Sugarman. Just sayin. Let me know if you would like to share.

Got the room covered...Joanne said she'd squeeze me in.
I go to Kingman alot...but usually in the Honda. Have a relative who works for a TV station up there. Never taken this route but it looks like my kinda road.
Mikie, I feel your economic pain. I'm under the FPL so no taxes, but after
getting the RV tags renewed I'm tapped for a LONG time! Hang in there, summer's just around the corner...oh wait.
