Donations are Rolling in

Got $10 from Bill Bryan, $5 from Jeff Classic and I still have $5 left from last year's Anniversary Party. We are headed for even, Karl! Thanks for your investment. Left over funds can go toward this years Anniversary Party.
Only need about $75.

Picnic this Saturday

Pete & Jen, be good to see you again. Bring your whatever. Find that 40 convertible for Jen yet? Just a reminder for all: bring your chairs, drinks and sunscreen.

Scottie, you said it...I meant Cobra. Anyway see ya tomorrow

Done and Done. We would have been hard pressed to have had nicer weather for our picnic today. Had a dozen Cobras, a beautiful Viper, Lyle's sweet Boss 302, and three or four civilian cars. The Mesa Red Mountain Park facility was excellent. Clean and well tended, one huge BBQ grill and two smaller ones, five big tables, plenty of shade, grass, trees, and clean restrooms, with (gasp) running water. Thanks to everyone that came out and those that didn't, missed a nice little get together.

A great choice Karl. A good showing of friends. Another great Az/ phoenix/mesa Cobras event.

2015 AZ Cobra Picnic

Great place Karl. Too bad for me it's so far, like 50+ miles but all freeway. Car received a stone chip on the way and by the time for the trip home I had a cracked windshield top to bottom. &*%#@+%$!
But the picnic was great. Nice Ramada, many picnic benches and grills. Lots of stories, food, cookies and treats. Even met 2 new cobra people from Colorado, Randall and Patty, with stories of racing up Pikes Peak for many years.
Can't wait for Route 66 Run.

Bob, see the club treasurer funds may be available to help fix the windshield.

That sucks.

Where are the pics.

DWRAT 04-04-2015 06:59 PM

Bob,
I'm sure you already know that Cobra Valley has polyglass front windshields for your car.

Bob Broberg SPF667 460BB 04-04-2015 08:19 PM

Thanks Dan. Yes I do. Will look into it. First will discuss with insurance Monday.
Finish Line and Shell Valley both make glass windshields that will fit, but must confirm, at between $500-$650. Lexan is less but must confirm install, deductible etc. My last glass was much more from Shelby.

That looks like it takes Kahoonies ! What fun. :3DSMILE:

DWRAT 04-05-2015 03:56 PM

Wow, that's a good driver.
Needs a better shut down section. (reminded me of Laughlin)

Karl Bebout 04-05-2015 04:29 PM

Ratyi Dan, what is your feeble excuse for not showing at the picnic yesterday? Although very heavily populated by certain sect/clan members, it is not any too close to Mexico. Now, if we'd been in Guadalupe....

Hey Bob,
What did you find out about your windshield?
I know I will eventually have this problem also.
