PolyGlass vs Glass
Thanks for asking Dan. I have talked to my insurance and I am completely covered for replacement even if Poly Carbonate. I have sourced both glass and the PolyGlass ($100 cheaper.) I took the car over to the Safelite facility that replaced it last time in 2010 and did a great job. Am waiting for the boss (off today) to decide tomorrow if they will replace the glass with the PolyGlass. I want the non-glass type. If boss man says no I will begin my search for a glass shop that will do it. After last visit he asked me to take it elsewhere if I needed another glass replacement.

That hill climb video is very cool, awesome driver. I think I saw that video before, I think the cobra was run on alternative fuel. I can't remember though. Either way, big balls!

Dave, here's the one you were thinking of. Randy talked about this one. This is a Shell Valley, chevy 350, propane powered cobra. By the way, the road was paved to the top in 2012.

Talk about complete car control.
Could you imagine Karl on that road trying to keep up with the group?:LOL::LOL: http://i1129.photobucket.com/albums/m515/dwrat/bug4.gif |
That's it, Bob. Thanks. Is Randy living in the valley or just visiting. Sorry I missed the picnic, damn kids.......LOL. I would like to hear some stories and pick his brain.

Randy and Patti were just visiting the Valley. Staying in their 45 foot RV and towing a 2 car trailer. Don't know their plans. Live in Colorado Springs. I asked him to send his e-mail address but have not received yet. You're right about the great stories.
His Midstates build with a 1963 427 donated by a Galaxie is a good story too. Shell Valley was a sponsor. They own Midstates. AZ Bob |
