Run up the Hill 5/13
Several of the East BumScrew guys are going to go to Miama (AZ, that is) this coming Wednesday for some truly outstanding Mexican food at Guayo's El Rey. I volunteer at the Heart Hospital that morning but will get home before 11:30 so we'll be East bound, and down, shortly there after. Anyone that wants to come along is certainly welcome. We're hooking up with Superstition Bill at the Shell station on the 60 and Mountain Brook (3-4 miles East of the end of the 60 freeway) about 11:45-ish. Be there, or be square.

Maybe
Is the Renn Festival going on? It is always a mess going east when that fair is going on?

Fitz, the Festival is well over. Don't think they are doing any construction work until June.

May 16 - Saturday - Yarnell
Hey all. I have a new soon to be member of the AZCobras that just moved here from NM. He has a beautiful SPF 427FE and would like to see some of AZ's majestic beauty. I was thinking of taking him up Yarnell Hill this Saturday morning. Does anyone want to join us and welcome him to AZ? Figured we would meet up at 8:30AM at McDonald's in Wickenburg and depart for the Hill at 9AM.
Roll call...who's in?

Oh yea. Jonesing for some of Guayo's shredded beef or green chile! Scottie, glad to hear that you can work the run into your busy schedule. I saw on another post that BobB is also coming. Do y'all a world of good to get out to "God's Country" for a change.

I don't think Bro is going; too far from his location. Besides, he doesn't want to be the slowest car there.

These runs sound great.
Karl, there is no such thing as outstanding Mexican food.
Enjoy the runs.

Thanks anyway Karl. Not going to make it. Too far, not fond of "hot" food and I couldn't keep up.

Just trying to shame you into it, Bob. I KNOW the real reason..you don't want to have to cough up 10% of what's in your wallet when you pass all the temples and steak (stake?) houses.

Mikiec, you sound like someone from MN or WI where ketchup is considered hot sauce.

Lived out there from 1970 to 2014, never could get a hankering for Mex. Now I do like a good Curry or some Pic Nom Pom. (Thai hot sauce).

Dan,
It may be ketchup to you. But I remember putting it on fried rice and other dishes and it was very very spicy hot.
I may have the name wrong.

Ted,
Doing fine. Not much seat time since moving out here. I will be making the F5 open house this year as long as I do not have CAS shoot.
