Lower control arm bushing
Morning All,
Anyone have any idea on where I can get a lower control arm bushing? Having no paperwork, I do not know what kind of front end is on the car. I want to say that it is Mustang II but not sure. The picture is of the drivers side lower control arm at the chassis.

That looks like Mustang II with the single lower control arm pivot. Like the production car had. It may use the same lower bushing as the production car. I know Mustang Depot sells kits.
Should probably change all of them at the same time.

After you take the old bushing out, take some pertinent measurements. The parts catalogs will have dimentions. I'd go with Energy Suspension since I've always been well pleased with their products, and you probably won't have to replace them, in this lifetime.

Am I really going to say this. I agree with Karl. Energy Suspension pieces are the way to go.

Yep, I once agreed to do a ride with him and he tried to turn it into a off road adventure.

Is this pick on Karl Day? Can I help? Sometimes Karl knows what he is talking about. He retired from Checker Auto. Must have learned something by osmosis.

Karl did learn to use a computer at Checker. If they had the books he would have been in trouble.

By the time Checker went to computerized parts look up, I'd moved into the corporate office. I used to be very catalog fluent. No mo no mo no mo.

One thing you will learn about this group, is EVERYONE is fair game. Thin skin is not an option. You might as well start now so you don't have to catch up.
I just cannot picture Karl in a shirt and tie with his pony tail.

That pony tail is getting really thin probably won't have it much longer.

The corporate life was pretty much pre-pony tail, although several years ago, I did grow one, using my 40th reunion as the excuse. A couple months after the reunion, a few people asked when I was going to loose it, so at the end of a multi-departmental meeting, I handed my boss's boss a big pair of scissors and he had a ball cutting it off.
