Breakfast Run on the 18th-early
Who's up for another breakfast run north on July 18th. Another early start. I'm open for suggestions.

I'm good to go. Rock Springs has good food, but is there any other way to get there, other than I17, or dirt roads?
Casa Grande, down through Maricopa? I'd really prefer non-interstates, but will go pretty much anywhere folks want to go.
I did the Superior, Winkleman, Oracle, Florence, Mesa drive early Sunday morning, for another 200+ miles. Such nice riding at O-dark-30.

Rock Springs has changed hands. I'm told its no longer worth the effort. Might be time to think about a run to Blue Ridge. Clint's Well cafe?

I agree with you Karl, but I love haulin' A up and down I17. You remember Richard with his Datona. He led me down I17 at 95 through the mountains, and 2 F150's caught up with us to see what we were doing. I kept looking in the rear view saying who were those guys, as they slowly caught up with us. Richard was Sun dance and I was butch. Too bad Katherine Ross wasn't along.

Today, the forecast for Clint's Wells, ON SATURDAY, is thunder storms and rain. Maybe that's in just the afternoon, but not sure I'd chance it since the surrounding days are calling for the same thing.
How about Yarnell? Maybe we could get Ralphie to come be the rabbit?

We could head north on I17, turn right at Camp Verde, and come back down through Strawberry, Pine, and Payson. I know we just did Payson, but it's a great ride.

Doesn't look like the weather is going to cooperate for a run Saturday.

I think it's that time of year where we are better off waiting until after the end of Monsoon season...next scheduled run would be Coronado Trail in late September.
