I'm sure that there are more than just conservatives who would like to see the last 6 or 7 years redone. Barack Obama is a liar and a cheat and a fraud. His leaings toward Shia are obvious. He craps on Sunni's and elevates Shia's. Just look at his record. He sould be arrested and tried for treason, malfeasance of office and fraud. He swore to "uphold, protect and defect the Constitution of the United States", and he's done nothing except try to replace it with his idea of what this country should be. His aim is to subjugate the American people and replace the Constitution with Sharia. Anyone with any brains and any insite and the ability to look beyond the end of his/her nose would see that. Just in case there are any questions about how I feel about him, I don't like nor trust him.

People like Danr55, and Santorum, Pailn, Cruz, Huckabee, etc. are the reason that I no longer call myself a Republican. I've been an independent since the 2000s when the mainstream Republican party started to... get a little kooky.

I believe in market solutions and I believe in common sense realities and the necessity to defend ourselves against a dangerous world. 20 years ago that would have made a me a Republican.

The problem is that now to be a Republican I also have to be homophobic. I have to count the number of times people go to church. I have to deny facts and think scientific research is a long con. I have to think poor people are getting a sweet ride. And I have to have such a stunning inferiority complex that I fear education and intellect in the 21st Century. Most of all, the biggest new requirement-–the only requirement-–is that I have to hate Democrats.

I am pretty sure I am conservative. That said the last debate in my mind was so rigged in favor of Jeb Boy, Walker and Rubio (Kennedy). Soft ball questions to these guys and anti questions to Trump Boy and Cruz. The star in my mind was the the Early Lady and of course Carson. Wouldn't that be something to see. The Smart Business Lady and the Very Smart Surgeon. What a ticket.!!

Don't think we would see much change going forward with most Republicans but The Lady, the Surgeon and the Cruz would turn the car at least 90 maybe 180 degrees to the right which would be back to the center.

Clinton and OB should be in impeached. Just destroyed this country. Jeb is just more big government. More of the dam same.

The problem with Obama is that his IQ is a good bit higher than the average politician. That clown Trump has at least one thing right, on the whole our congress is made up of idiots. When a "black man" as educated as Obama is, can articulate thoughts as only Obama can, in a vocabulary his constituents wish they had, then you know all hell is going to break lose. Hey Joe, What about the Iran Nuclear Treaty has Obama said that is right for America or right for the world? Didn't Obama say, "If it gets ugly, I'll stand with Islam"? Well, if something isn't done to preclude the Iran Nuclear Treaty from coming to fruition, it will get very ugly. Look at his record in Iraq. He pulled the US Military out without any agreement to support the predominately Sunni Government. He has sided against the predominately Sunni Saudi Government. When Egypt dumped the Muslim Brotherhood he turned his back and began courting Iran, who in case you didn't notice is Shiite...(to the point of executing as heritics many Bahai and no mulsimw..especially Christian Armenians among whom I had many friends.) He backed Assad and Hezbolah and crapped on Israel (who again, if you haven't noticed is the only democracy in that part of the world and has always support every president until Obummer.._) Now you can poo poo this all you want, and you can stick your head in the sand and pretend it isn't so. ...but having spent many many years living in that part of the world, I can tell you for a fact, that is so.. and if you didn't pick up on any of his declarations in any of his books, then explaining it to you by quoting chapter and verse will only serve to confuse you... There endith the lesson.. Nope.. one more thing.. I am not necessairily a Republican. I am first and foremost an American, a veteran and well educated. I will vote for and support whomever lends themselve to the best ideals of and support for the US Constitution. This document is the only thing that stands now as it has for generations as the pillar of individual freedom and national security. I took an oath once upon a time to protect and defend agaisnt all enemies foriegn and domestic. Just because my tour is over, I do not consider myself released from that oath. I will still stand and defend if necessary....and if you look around, you will find that that attitude is starting to show up in lots of people who recognize the threats for who and what they are and from whence they come.

Again, this is total garbage. As a rule, I've observed Canadians I've talked with about US politics, are very liberal - they have been fed a steady diet of US liberal propaganda. Ask a Canadian about "all the Americans that have guns" & you'll see what I'm talking about.
