I was just up in the Seattle area. I saw highway signs that read "Pot Dispensary Next Exit."

The WA "manual" must be even larger than CA's.

Up here, I have counted 13 dispensaries within a 5 mile radius so far! some are literally 1/2 block apart. No thanks!

I'd rather spend my time checking out Redmond Town Center car show and maybe catch up with some fellow CC guys including Brent if he's around.

Perhaps less ideology and more pragmatism, eh?
Chamber of Commerce in SK ? That's kind of like the best hockey team in Bolivia......Eh?

P.S. As far as the happines scale stuff......you don't need to convince us here but you might want to try the 1/2 the population that lives in Quebec that's been trying to leave for the last 30 years.

Further and more importantly - can some genius please explain to me how anyone can justify spending considerably more to get a job, than they would ever earn in that job?

Not sure what that means... Ben Bernanke was chairman of the FED for 8 years or so... Maybe even studied Economics once or twice... Yet from a far and in hindsight, it's evident he knew little...

It doesn't take a genius, just someone a little more knowledgeable than you, which quite frankly, is nothing to write home about. After 8 years max you have this for life. (Not to mention the millions made at public speaking venues).

"The retirement benefits received by former Presidents include a pension, Secret Service protection, and reimbursements for staff, travel, mail, and office expenses. The Presidential pension is not a fixed amount, rather it matches the current salary of Cabinet members (or Executive Level I personnel), which is $191,300/year as of March, 2008 (but see "Salary Info" section above for advice on how to track increases in this figure)."

Aussies are easy to miss. Don't they all hide in the bush? Well, at least rare BBF intakes do.

BTW, presidential candidates for the most part spend other people's money. Not much of their own.

You might want to check recent economic data before taking shots at Saskatchewan. We have a small population (~1.1 million) but here are some tidbits you may not know:
a) Saskatchewan is the world's leading supplier of potash and uranium. Other minerals include gold, coal, salt, silica sands, kaolin, sodium and potassium sulphate, as well as clays.
b) The discovery of the world's largest field of diamond-bearing kimberlite pipes has led to extensive exploration, drilling and discoveries for diamonds. The province also has endowments of copper, zinc, nickel, rare earth minerals and platinum group elements.
c) Lowest unemployment rate (5.2%) in Canada for 22 consecutive months.
d) #1 in Canada for oil and gas investment in the Fraser Institute’s 2014 Global Petroleum Survey.
e) Canada’s second-largest oil producer
f) third-largest natural gas producing province in Canada
g) world’s first and largest commercial-scale Carbon Capture and Storage installation (Boundary Dam Carbon Capture Project)
h) 100,000 (not a misprint) lakes for water sports and fishing
i) White-tailed deer: produce more huge bucks than any other jurisdiction, including the World Record White-Tail ("The Hanson Buck" - shot November 23, 1993, on a farm near Biggar, SK)
j) Big game: antelope, mule deer, elk, moose and black bear
k) Game birds: Abundant waterfowl, sharp-tailed grouse, pheasants, Hungarian partridge, and Ruffed grouse

Nasty winters but great summers. People are wonderful and very friendly, so it's a great place to live, work and raise a family, but also to visit - particularly for those who enjoy the great outdoors (in the summer!!).

Have a great day.

I hear ice hockey in Bolivia is sorta like soccer in America, coming on strong.

'La Pista', the location where the ice rink is installed, in the Bolivian city of La Paz.

Yes Sir, I had read it.
But you misinterpreted the comment - I know what it "is", but not what it "means" - as in: the relevance of listing titles & flashing badges.

Again, I'll try this example - George Bush was president - He can put that on his CV. It doesn't impress me much. Einstein, on the other hand, flunked out of pretty much everything.

Oh yes... and apart from English not being my first language, I DO suffer from selective comprehension - I choose to NOT even bother comprehending what's fed to the sheeple.

Ahhh RK, thank you. I knew I could rely on you... I was hoping someone would go there... So do you not find this both inherently problematic and concerning?

Thank you. I was going to point that out, but I was having such a good time with all the nonsense being said in this thread. Why you "hushing my buzz"?
