So let's see.... A single day run that is actually a 3 day run. That is unless you have figured out how to teleport people and cars to SD.

We would leave Friday and come home Sunday.
We will meet up with the Cali guys for the Saturday run.

Dan, that's a great idea. You've got to start somewhere. The First Corronado Trail Run was only 3 cobras in 2012 organized by Dan Shinn. Run with it. Figure where and when. Motel and costs, distances, departure point, etc.

car run

What is up in Riverside? I have often wondered why the Cobra guys in Arizona haven't hooked up with the San Diego chapter. Has anyone in your group made it to Coronado Speed fest? That would be a sweet run for you guys.

You never know when or where this gang will show up.

Friday night Varmit has offered to coastal cobra tour. (Saturday night may be better)
Maybe we can find a dinner spot on the tour.
Otherwise, in the hotel parking lot there's a great little Mexican joint, a IHOP & a Starbucks.

I'm interested in going, but I have to check my schedule on Monday and see if that weekend can be blocked off... TBD

Karl Bebout 10-18-2015 09:57 AM

MAYBE, Danr would like to use his really big Dodge truck to tow over. He's part owner in a trailer and I've heard that he's really good at towing, er, that is if he gets the trailer repaired and his truck bumper replaced....

DWRAT 10-18-2015 12:12 PM

Danr already opted out of this trip.
Something about chasing tail somewhere.

Karl Bebout 10-18-2015 09:58 PM

Ratt tat tat, I knew that Danr was using the excuse of wanting to go kill Bambi's cousin. I was just throwing a bomb about his trailering prowess.

Danr55 10-19-2015 06:44 AM

Boom! Karl... Big Boom!

Oh, so Danr had a problem towing his trailer.
I bet it was backing up as his backing ability is not the best.
He almost backed into my car at a past show, thankfully BobB was there to yell, stop.

Danr55 10-19-2015 09:33 AM

You are thick today Dan. He was alluding to the fact that I have a trailer suitable for towing a Cobra. Unfortunately, he forgot to mention that we no longer loan the trailer, so....

So Karl want's to borrow a trailer?????

I have a trailer he can barrow, but NOT for the SoCal trip.

Karl, you aloud to make the trip???

Karl Bebout 10-19-2015 07:46 PM

Nonono. Not going on the CA run, not looking for a trailer. Sold my truck and trailer a few months ag's o. My current car is so relatively comfortable, and I won't be racing, so didn't think I needed the equipment.

I guess I was being too obtuse. I was just throwing a jab about SOMBODY's level of trailering skill.

Hum, so just as I originally thought.
I guess I wasn't being "thick".
If you ever do need a trailer just let me know.

Karl Bebout 10-20-2015 08:36 AM

Thanks, for the offer Dan.

You, absolutely, were spot on. OTHERS may have been a bit thick...

Scotchman 10-28-2015 07:39 AM

Thick as a brick ! Looks like I'm going Duning in Yuma on this weekend, so I won't make this run. Thanks Varmint for the room offer. :MECOOL:
