Sounds like a good idea for you young folk. Take the 66 route on Friday. Us old people need rest and a slower pace. I normally just sleep in, breakfast, then go downtown to car show.
Museum must be a great place to visit and tour. Our tour with a bunch of SPF people was led by Gary Patterson himself up by the NASCAR track facility.
On Sunday you could finish the route to Topock through Oatman or join us on Mikie's infamous "Salmon Run." Which means back upstream the way we came.

My first road trip in the Cobra was to Vegas for a SAAC does Vegas day. About 1 month after being on the road.

Ginny was thinking about asking at the front desk for a good Steak place. She found a couple on line.

Bob? You taking the Cobra of the Stang?

Weather forecast is for sunny 80-ish clear days so it's cobra driving!

Long johns are only necessary when it gets to -10.

I will be there... Heck I am already here.

Friday doesn't look to bad, slight chance of hitting rain.
Sunday looks bad, it will be a wet ride home.
A true Salmon run I guess.

Just looking at the weather channel. Looks like it might be a good idea to come down Sunday through Wikiup and Wickenburg. Only listed as 10% chance of rain on Sunday.. Stat tuned for any last minute changes though.

I made it home in one piece.
Left the show in a down pour around 10:30am.
Removed top in Wikieup and it was smooth sailing from there.
I-40 in a down pour sucks...

I'm glad I listened to the weatherman (and he was right for a change) and stayed home! Hope everyone gets home safely! Enjoy the swim!

Well, at least I know Keith is well-accustomed to the weather - That looks eerily similar to the day he and I took the New Zealeanders up to Fountain Hills

Nice Weather. Hard top would have come in handy. Lots of Luck. It is pouring, lightning, a bit of hail here at Lake Pleasant. Moses is here close I am sure.

Just got home from the run. What a weekend of contradictions.. Hot/Cold Wet/Dry Mikie nice/Mikie Mikie.. Ha Ha.. It was nice to see Mike and Ginny again.. He threatened to come back for the anniversary party, but, you know Mikie.. We'll see. Anyway, Stand by for an announcement from Al in Tucson. He came up with a grand idea and will be posting it soon.. I hope. Oh, one more piece of news. Rick Riley had a stroke in March and is down and recovering. I talked with Kelli on Friday and got the bad news. I don't have all of the particulars, but will get them in a week or so. I thought it might be a reall pzzr if everyone showed up out side his window with a Cobra. I'll find out where they are keeping him and we'll see what we can plan. In the mean time, prayers and good throughts are apprciated.
