Hey guys, thank you for all the kind words! I'm glad we all had fun and I look forward to doing it again very soon as long as my work schedule allows.
Robert - I ended up with almost 1/4 tank by the time I made it home. Filled up and figured out my mileage...I averaged 9.9 miles per gallon even with all of the acceleration blasts! I was hoping it would be around 10mpg and it's not properly tuned yet so I am pleased with the results. Just now looking at your signature confirms what I thought I was seeing as I was following you on Hwy87 - your car seemed a bit bigger than normal. It is very well done and beautiful and I would be proud to own yours - or any of the ones I saw that day. Everyones cars looked really nice! I just need to finish the fiberglass work on my hoodscoop and send it off for paint so it can look as good as the rest of the cars.
Scotchman - thank you for the compliment!
Ralph - I appreciate your thoughts/help about posting here. I actually did load the pics to my photobucket account and then inserted them into my post which is why it was so late that evening before I posted. When clicking the "post" button, I was then shown a screen indicating the post had to be reviewed by a moderator before it would be applied to the thread. Looks like they take a few days to get through all the newbie posts. Here's hoping it won't be too much longer.
Todd

Todd, you probably tried to post photos that are too large. I also use Photobucket but reduce my photo size to under 500KB before uploading to Photobucket. 500KB is the file limit size for Club Cobra.

cobrafan460..
Keep a close eye on that roll bar mount. Check for cracks and do not over tighten. How do I know? My GpPro is somewhere in New Hampshire after the mount decided to commit suicide. All that was left was the mount and the little fingers from where the GoPro connected to the mount.
I now mount it on the dashboard.

Here's one my nephew shot of Ralph's, Robert McLinden's, and my cars, set against the metropolitan Eloy skyline in the background...:

Hi Todd-
I was able to insert image links from my photobucket without moderator approval after I made 10 posts, so you are getting closer...

AZ Bob - good tip but I made sure to resize the pics in photobucket before posting. I changed them to 640x360 but don't know the KB size although they looked smaller than the one Robert posted above.
Robert - your nephew took a good pic...I think he should be the designated club photographer! And thanks for the post count tip.
Mikiec - I appreciate the advice about the gopro mount and I like the idea of mounting it to the windshield. I was dissatisfied with the amount of wind noise from the video so I am going to do like you and see if that turns out better.
Thanks guys!
Todd

Todd and/or MikieC, I hear a lot of wind noises coming from videos mounted in Cobras. Question is, is there an external port on the GoPros where a separate mic can be mounted?

Ralph - I have an old gopro and it does not have an external mic jack. It has written on the body of the camera "for best sound in high wind" to use the non-waterproof door for <100mph or the waterproof door for >100mph. This is talking about the clear housing the gopro is slipped inside which is then mounted to the vehicle.
